Presentation: Quick Start for Basic Presentations

This presentation will cover two areas.  First, talk about how terrible of a speaker I was, and how I’m not that much better now.  Then outline a “basic” presentation format – like a quick start.

Jason Strate, Digineer Inc, is a DBA with over fifteen years of experience. He is a recipient of the Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (MVP) for SQL Server since July, 2009. His experience includes design and implementation of both OLTP and OLAP solutions as well as assessment and implementation of SQL Server environments for best practices, performance, and high availability solutions. Jason is a SQL Server MCITP and participated in the development of Certification exams for SQL Server 2008.

SQL Saturday (Friday)

SQLSaturday is a training event for SQL Server professionals and those wanting to learn about SQL Server. This week Bill Preachuk will be presenting Database Restores – Lessons from the Real World. This event will be held Nov 11 2011 at Grace Church Eden Prairie. Admittance to this event is free, but we do charge a lunch fee of 10.00 so that we can provide a lunch – not pizza! Please register soon as seating is limited, and let friends and colleagues know about the event.

And yes, we sometimes do things differently in Minnesota — Our event will be during the week on a Friday, not on Saturday
